Reform of the system of local government finance changes in taxes, investments, and budget management. The fourth edition of Local Trends – Local Government Finance Congress will begin tomorrow in Sopot. During the event, representatives of the government, local governments, science, and business will discuss the biggest challenges of the new term of local government.
The Institute of Public Finance has become a substantive partner of the event and on the second day of the Congress will host the panel “Register of agreements – an essential component of an open budget of local government”. To participate in the panel we have invited:

The panel will be moderated by PhD Slawomir Dudek, who will present – for the first time – the results of a pilot study of the ranking of local governments in terms of functionality, scope, and accessibility to the contract register.
