On Financing National Security at the Banking & Insurance Leaders Meeting

Professor Paweł Wojciechowski, Chair of the Program Council of the Institute of Public Finance (IFP), will take part in a panel discussion titled “Financing National Security: Defense Industry and Military” during the 29th Banking & Insurance Forum, which will take place on April 15–16 in Warsaw.

The panel will address the following topics:

  • How can the financial sector collaborate more effectively with institutions responsible for national defense?

  • Building a banking fund – how to develop an effective system of preferential credit financing for the defense sector?

  • Dual-use technologies and defense financing – how can the financial sector support strategic investments in innovation that meet today’s geopolitical challenges?

  • Will Zero Trust Architecture become the new standard in the financial sector? What lessons can be drawn from the experience of Eurozone banks?
